John Tesh, joined by his family and their 350 syndicated radio stations put together a Healthcare Worker Relief Facebook-a-thon on Friday, April 17. 2020 during this unprecedented situation of Covid-19. They were live on Facebook for 6 hours, raising money to help healthcare workers.

For this special event, the whole easylive.io team was honored to support this initiative by providing our multistream technology. 

How they used live streaming solutions to mobilize people online? 

For this event, John Tesh and his team essentially used the multi-streaming capabilities of easylive.io to reach several Facebook pages at the same time plus they leveraged the backup (automatic fail safe).

A local production with 4 cameras, pre-recorded videos and live Skype interviews were the backbone of that production.

A great success for the healthcare worker cause! 

The live event was streamed on the 45 different Facebook pages, reaching 2.5 million people during those 6h. They raised more than $35,000 thanks to the generosity of all the viewers and they will be providing care packages for the Healthcare workers. A beautiful initiative for our healthcare heroes!
