How to setup multiple remote guests?
  • In the Production Studio (1).
  • Start the test phase (2).
  • Add an input (3).
  • In the "Live source" tab (4)
  • Select "Remote capture" (5).
  • Share the provided link to your remote guests (6).

Repeat the operation 3 to 6 for each of your remote guests in this example we have 3 remote guests: Jason, Pierre and Nicolas).

  • Enable the Remote capture live sources in the control room (7).
  • Edit each remote guests settings by double-clicking on the inputs.
  • Enter each remote guests settings (8).
  • Edit your remote guests audio and video parameters (9). These settings are specific to each remote guest.
  • Edit the video/audio input that your remote guests will be able to view on his device (Phone, PC or Mac).

Jason remote settings

You can see that Jason's video/audio feedbacks has been disabled for his device and please note that the two other remote guest have the volume set up to "Volume Always On".

  • Save the remote guests settings with the "save" button.

Pierre remote settings

You can see that Pierre's video/audio feedback has been disabled for his device and please note that the two other remote guest have the volume set up to "Volume Always On".

  • Save the remote guests settings with the "save" button.

Nicolas remote settings

You can see that Nicolas's video/audio feedback has been disabled for his device and please note that the two other remote guests have the volume set up to "Volume Always On".

Send this cheat sheet to your remote guests

  • Open the previously sent link*. For Android devices please use only Google Chrome browser, for iPhone (IOS) please use only Safari browser.

If needed, allow easylive.io to use the devices microphone/camera.

  • When ready to stream, simply click on "Start".
  • Return to the easylive.io platform to check if the stream is received (if not, check the status of your internet connection, it is possible that the bandwidth on your device is too low). 

* If you get a gray screen or a sound problem -> check that you have no Bluetooth speakers or other audio devices that could conflict with the easylive.io system.
